What is the difference between Citra® and conventional air
fresheners?
Citra is a concentrated, long lasting, 100% natural, air purifier that eliminates odors in your
home, automobile, boat, workplace; anywhere you want to enjoy the
clean, fresh, pleasant scent of natural citrus. Citra is perfect
for eliminating odors; garbage, litter boxes, pets, mold, mildew,
smoke and food odors.
Citra is made from only natural citrus
essential oils extracted from citrus fruit, which by their nature
search for open-ended organic molecules to bond with. Most odor
molecules are organic in makeup because they originate from either a
plant or animal source therefore; the citrus molecules actively seek
out and attach themselves to the odor molecules and form a completely
new compound effectively eliminating the smell of the odor molecule.
Bottom Line
Conventional air fresheners don’t have an odor molecule bonding
process; they only cover up or mask odors by adding a strong scent in
the air. Only Citra has a bonding action that naturally dissolves
odors and leaves behind a clean citrus fragrance.
Product Freshness
Much in the same way exposure to the air and heat quickly ages and
spoils fruit, air freshener’s ingredients spoil from direct exposure
to the air. Citra’s Advanced Barrier System™ spray cans isolate
and protect the formula from exposure to the air; keeping it fresh.
Many other designs (pumps, etc.) actually pull air into the container
to dispense the air freshener; compromising the integrity of the
ingredients; leading to spoilage.
Environmentally Friendly
The Citra can’s non-aerosol delivery system does not contain any
CFC’s. Even the compressed air charge remains inside the can and is
never released.

How does the special spray can packaging work?
Citra's non-aerosol spray cans utilized a patented Advanced Barrier
System that keeps the product ingredients fresh by separating the
compressed air charge and outside air from the Citra formula. The can
contains a hermetically sealed and rolled product containment pouch.
Compressed air is pumped in and the top is sealed. The pouch is filled
with Citra and expands. The air pressure outside the bag increases
forcing the product out the actuator (spray nozzle) on the top of the
can.
